- #1 Method: Microsoft Rewards – earn 100-1000+ Robux/month
- Roblox Affiliate Program: Earn 5% when friends make purchases
- Create & sell: Game passes, clothing, and accessories
- All "generators" are scams – learn how to avoid them
- Earning free Robux takes time and effort – there are no instant shortcuts
Let's address the elephant in the room: free Robux generators don't exist. Every website promising unlimited free Robux, every YouTube video with "working hack 2025," and every link shared in Discord servers – they're all scams designed to steal your account or personal information.
But here's the good news: there ARE legitimate ways to earn Robux without spending money. These methods require time and effort, but they're real, safe, and actually work. I've personally tested all of them and will share exactly what to expect.
1. Microsoft Rewards (Our Top Pick)
Microsoft Rewards Program
Earn points for Roblox gift cards by completing simple tasks
Microsoft Rewards is the most reliable and legitimate way to earn free Robux. It's an official Microsoft program where you earn points for using Bing, completing quizzes, and other simple activities. These points can be redeemed for Roblox gift cards.
How it works:
- Create a free Microsoft account at rewards.microsoft.com
- Complete daily activities: Bing searches, quizzes, polls
- Earn bonus points through Xbox Game Pass quests (if you have it)
- Redeem points for Roblox gift cards (usually 1,500-6,000 points per card)
Expected earnings: Most users earn enough for a £5-10 gift card (400-800 Robux) every 1-2 months with consistent daily activity.

Roblox Affiliate Program
Earn Robux when friends join games or buy items through your links
Every Roblox user has access to the affiliate program. When you share a link to a game or item and someone signs up for Roblox or makes a purchase, you earn 5% of any Robux they spend.
How to use it:
- Find a game or item you want to share
- Click the "Share" button to get your unique affiliate link
- Share with friends, on social media, or in Discord servers
- Earn 5% when new users make purchases within 24 hours
Pro tip: Share links to popular games when friends are looking for something new to play. If they buy a game pass, you get a cut!
3. Game Development & Game Passes
Create Games & Sell Game Passes
Build games and monetise them with purchasable upgrades
Roblox Studio is free to use, and creating games is one of the most powerful ways to earn Robux. You can sell game passes (one-time purchases) and developer products (consumables) within your games.
What you can sell:
- VIP access or premium features
- In-game currency or boosts
- Special abilities or items
- Cosmetic upgrades
The reality: While top developers earn millions of Robux, success requires significant time learning Roblox Studio and Lua programming. Start small with simple games and build your skills over time.

Create & Sell Clothing/Accessories
Design shirts, pants, and accessories for other players
If you have design skills, you can create and sell clothing items on the Roblox marketplace. This requires a Roblox Premium subscription to upload and sell items.
What you can create:
- T-shirts (simple, one-sided designs)
- Shirts and pants (wrap around the avatar)
- Accessories and UGC items (if accepted into UGC program)
Important: You keep 70% of sales (Roblox takes a 30% fee). Popular designers can earn thousands of Robux, but competition is fierce and success requires marketing your items.
5. Official Roblox Events & Giveaways
Roblox Events & Promotions
Participate in official events for free items and occasional Robux
Roblox regularly hosts events with free rewards. While most give virtual items rather than Robux directly, some special promotions and competitions do offer Robux prizes.
Where to find events:
- Roblox Events page on the official website
- Official Roblox social media accounts
- In-game event announcements
- Brand collaboration events (Gucci, Nike, etc.)
Note: Be cautious of fake "giveaways" on social media. Official Roblox giveaways are announced through verified accounts only.
6. Roblox Premium Stipend
Premium Monthly Robux
Receive monthly Robux with a Premium subscription
Okay, this one isn't strictly "free" since Premium costs money. However, if you or a family member already pays for Premium, you receive a monthly Robux stipend automatically:
- Premium 450: 450 Robux/month (£4.99)
- Premium 1000: 1,000 Robux/month (£9.99)
- Premium 2200: 2,200 Robux/month (£19.99)
Premium also gives you 10% bonus on purchased Robux and the ability to sell items – potentially earning more Robux through other methods listed here.
7. Gift Card Reward Apps
Reward & Survey Apps
Earn points through surveys and tasks, redeem for gift cards
Several legitimate apps let you earn points for completing surveys, watching videos, or trying new apps. These points can be redeemed for gift cards, including Roblox cards.
Legitimate options include:
- Swagbucks: Surveys, shopping cashback, videos
- Google Opinion Rewards: Quick surveys for Play credit
- Mistplay: Play mobile games to earn points (Android)
Important: Earnings are typically small for the time invested. Never pay money to join a "reward" site, and avoid any site promising unusually high payouts – those are scams.
Scams to Avoid: Fake "Free Robux" Methods
⚠️ Critical Warning
Scammers specifically target Roblox players searching for free Robux. If you encounter any of these, DO NOT engage – they will steal your account, personal information, or both.
🚫 Never Trust These
"Free Robux Generators" – Websites claiming to generate Robux are 100% fake. Robux cannot be "generated" – it's not technically possible.
"Robux Hack" Videos – YouTube videos with clickbait thumbnails promising hacks. They lead to phishing sites or make you download malware.
Websites Asking for Your Password – No legitimate service needs your Roblox password. Ever. If a site asks, it's a phishing attempt.
"Human Verification" Surveys – These are designed to make scammers money while giving you nothing. They often lead to endless loops.
Discord/Roblox Messages Offering Free Robux – Random users offering free Robux are scammers. Report and block them immediately.
"Robux Mod APK" Downloads – Modified Roblox apps don't give free Robux – they contain malware that steals your data.
